Sultanas

Funny thing happened at work today. One of my workmates, lets call him Newton, walks into our room and asks my other workmate, lets call him Paul, if he likes sultanas. That immediately got Paul's attention because he loves sultanas, and later reveals to me that there is not enough sultanas in the breakfast cereal Sultana Bran. So being a little curious he asks Newton why he's giving away that packet of sultanas in his hand. You see Newton has a reputation for being a bit of a joker amongst us and I'm sure Paul immediately thought that maybe the packet of sultanas had fallen on the floor or something. Newton replies by saying he doesn't like eating sultanas. Still wary but delighted nevertheless by his change of fortunes, Paul decides to accept the packet and begins to eat them.

Five minutes later, another workmate, let's call him George, walks into our room and asks "Hey guys, have you seen a packet of sultana's lying around somewhere?" At which point I burst out laughing. The little bastard Newton stole Georges sultanas whilst George was out making tea for some of us. The reality of the situation dawned on Paul and he didn't know what to say but something along the lines of "I'm sorry buddy, but I ate it all. I didn't know it was yours". Poor George was devastated.

hahahaha I think Paul will think twice before accepting food from Newton again :P

I've always wanted to start a personal journal about my life experiences/thoughts but just never got off my lazy ass to do something about it. Well now I have no excuse and being in the electronic age, it's never been easier! At least this will keep me sane during the work hours (don't tell my boss I'm doing this instead of working :)) So yeah, this is the first of many posts, I hope, and one day I might even chuck it all on paper and make a little book out of it....
