A lesson

I learnt a valuable lesson about buying property on the weekend. "If a property is cheap, then do anything that is humanly possible to close the deal ASAP." On Thursday afternoon I went and saw a property. I made an offer on Friday morning and the real estate agent said ok, just come in and sign the contract. I was at work so I decided to wait till the afternoon before signing it. By then someonelse had already made a higher offer. In the end it became a bidding war and the price went too high for me. If I had left work that morning and signed the contract then the property could have been mine at a much lower price. *sigh* You live and learn.
