QLD

Sara, her friend Alan and I, went up to Brisbane on this Easter long weekend to visit Sara's sister, Lisa and her boyfriend Nguyen. It was a fun and relaxing weekend with lots of seafood, alcohol, footy and more food. Some highlights of the trip:

* Tried XXXX beer. Dubbed "Double X, double X" beer by Alan. Tasted like any other beer.

* Went on a wonderful Ferry cruise along the Bisbane river to see the CBD and it's surrounds. It's a big contrast to see sky scrappers along the riverbank.

* Saw the man-made rainforest, man-made beach, markets and Nepalese Pagoda at Southbank. Very touristy indeed.

* Ate QLD mud crab. Spectacular :)

* Went to Surfers Paradise on Saturday night. Checked out Jupiters Casino then headed to the Bourbon bar and danced the night away. Good RnB & Hip Hop music. Reminded me of Booty Bar but with more Aussie chicks.

* Watched the mighty Sea Eagles defeat the Melbourne Storm in a top of the table clash. Undefeated after 3 rounds! :D

* Drank the best tasting beer ever. Hoe Garden. A Belgian Beer. It was smooth, not too fizzy, not too bitter and left your mouth with an aromatic herbal after taste. It was heaven. I thought all beer tasted bad until I tried this.
